Q: Do I have to pay for my removal service in advance?

A: No. You only have to pay for the service provided on the day of your relocation. Although we will take your credit card details simply to secure the booking but no funds will be withdrawn.

Q: How much far in advance do you need to book with Easymove?

A: As soon as you know your moving date get in touch with our team for a quote. If you are happy with our service offered book ASAP. The earlier you book the larger range of dates available and the more time you will have to get organised for your move. We recommend you book at least three days in advance however this is not essential.

Q: What is included in the quotation?

A: Here at Easymove removals your quote is tailored around your needs and requirements. The price of the quote will vary depending on which services you require.

-          All Packaging Materials – Prior to your moving date we will send out free boxes to help you start packing. We can also supply you with additional packaging materials if required.

-          Full Packing Service – Our team would come the day prior to your moving date to supply you with the full packing service.

-          Full Removal Services – we dismantle items such as beds, wardrobes and so on. We also remove things from walls and ceilings, such as bookshelves.

-          Full Unpacking Service.

Q: How is the quote calculated at Easymove?

A: The removal cost is calculated by taking into consideration: Loading, unloading and time to the destination, as well as how many porters it will take to complete the move in the given time. Each quote calculated is tailored for your relocation service.

Q: How do I pay?

A: Yes, in the United Kingdom it is a legal requirement to charge Value Added Tax.

Q: What insurance cover will I receive?

A: At Easymove we have’ Goods in transit insurance’ up to £100,000 per each vehicle.

Q: How long will my removal take?

A: The time your removal will take will depend on many factors. Every customer will be different as each customer has different requirements. The time of the removal will depend on the distance between destinations, what size house you are moving from and to. To get a better idea of how long your move will take ring our team at Easymove for further assistance.

Q: What happens if my move cannot be completed on the same day?

A: If your move is a local move and the removal guys and yourself agree that it will not be completed in the one day planned originally, or the keys to your new house have been delayed so you cannot carry on with your move once loaded. We will place your goods into our storage facilities in a heated secure warehouse; we will redeliver your goods on the next available date for yourself.

However if your move is a national relocation service, your house contents will be loaded onto the removal lorry and your goods will stay on the vehicle overnight. The removal guys will also sleep on the vehicle at all times with your goods. The following morning the removal guys will carry on with the service and will deliver your house content to you.
